Built at the end of the 15th century in one of the most vibrant and bustling areas of the city, this modern-day palace of commerce now stands as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, officially recognised in 1996.
Visit with audioguide in 11 languages. A must-see monument.+
La Lonja de Valencia, also known as the Silk Exchange or Lonja de los Mercaderes, is one of the must-see landmarks in the city. This impressive building rises from the Plaza del Mercado, alongside other iconic sites such as the Central Market and the Church of Santos Juanes.
The city decided to create a space dedicated to trade, which had become the main driver of its economy. As a result—and a testament to Valencia’s strength—this modern commercial temple was built to welcome merchants from around the world.
Since 2021, Global Menta has provided the audioguide rental service at La Lonja, enabling visitors to explore the monument in full. As of 2024, we also manage the guided tours of the Lonja Tower.
We offer a range of services at this UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996.

Transforming the museum
into a cultural reference point
Multilingual and Accessible Audioguides
We offer a comprehensive audioguide service in 11 languages: Spanish, Valencian, English, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Chinese, Japanese and Russian. This linguistic diversity enables visitors to enjoy a self-guided, enriching experience tailored to their cultural and linguistic needs.
Audioguides are available for direct listening on the device or for download to the visitor’s mobile phone, ensuring a more personalised and comfortable experience.
In line with our commitment to universal accessibility, we also offer sign-guides in Spanish Sign Language (LSE), ensuring visitors with hearing disabilities can fully enjoy the visit and discover the history, symbolism and architecture of La Lonja de Valencia.
Scriptwriting of Cultural Content
We develop audioguide content based on in-depth historical research and adapt it to clear, inclusive and educational language. Scripts are created by experts in heritage and cultural communication, designed to deliver a coherent, rigorous and engaging narrative for diverse audiences.
Exclusive Guided Tours
Since 2023, we have managed guided tours of the Lonja Tower, one of the monument’s most distinctive architectural features. As specialists in cultural mediation, we’ve developed and implemented a programme of 16 weekly tours in three languages, along with the associated booking system. This two-year initiative offers visitors the chance to explore areas usually closed to the public, accompanied by staff specialised in the monument and heritage interpretation.
